Welcome to our Shuckin’ Competition at our 33rd Annual Oyster New Year celebration! Here, oyster growers and shuckers from around the West Coast gather to showcase their skills and compete for glory. Join us for an exhilarating competition filled with speed, skill, and camaraderie. Show off your shucking prowess and compete for fantastic prizes while being cheered on by our enthusiastic audience. Prizes:
The top three participants with the fastest and cleanest shucking performances will be awarded coveted prizes along with trophies.

- Third Place: $150 Elliott’s Oyster House Promo Card
Format & Rules:
Get ready to shuck! Each participant is tasked with shucking two dozen oysters as quickly as possible while ensuring that they are cleanly opened and presented. Speed and cleanliness are the key criteria for judging.
Registration:
Registration is open to oyster growers and shuckers of all skill levels for our competition and must be participating in Oyster New Year to be eligible. Limited slots are available, so sign up now to secure your spot!
